Born and raised in Texas, Ellie Johnson has always had a keen interest in the world around her. In addition to being an author, she also works as an NREMT-Paramedic, thriving in the fast-paced world of emergency responding, as well as the less-intense classroom, where she teaches the next generation of Paramedics and EMT's. When not saving lives or working as an educator, Ellie spends her free time training and competing in Brazilian jiu jitsu, MMA, and weightlifting. As the owner of Growlery Publishing House, she is dedicated to developing powerful stories, both through her own voice and the voices of others. In the non-athletic sphere, she enjoys painting, sculpting, learning new skills, and studying the natural world. Whether in the gym, afield, or in a coffeeshop, Ellie always pursues a higher degree of knowledge, ability, mindfulness, and skill. “This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!” (Psalm 118: 24)
