Rich White is a retired Fire Captain, Building Inspector, and licensed Supervising Electrician with over 30 years of hands-on experience in the trades. As the creator of Building Code Geek, he shares practical insights to help electricians, contractors, and inspectors navigate the often-confusing world of residential and commercial code compliance. Having spent his career on both sides of the inspection process, he brings empathy, clarity, and real-world experience to everything he teaches and writes.

Rich is also the author of faith-based works, including What If Your House Was on Fire and You Didn’t Know It?, where he draws from decades of emergency response and personal challenges to explore life, faith, and the urgency of making the right decisions before it's too late.
