George Kaloudis

George Kaloudis is a Greek American writer from North Carolina. He is the author of a novel and several short stories, under both his name and a pseudonym.

In addition to writing fiction, George is a feature columnist and a former TV and podcast host. He got his start at CoinDesk where he was hired to author investor research about Bitcoin. While at CoinDesk he wrote a weekly newsletter with 180k+ subscribers and weekly opinion columns for CoinDesk’s digital magazine. He eventually moved beyond the page and moderated panels at industry conferences and joined other podcasts as a featured guest.

Prior to his time at CoinDesk, George worked at investment banks SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and Truist Securities for five years. He returned to Truist Securities in 2024.

George studied mathematics at Davidson College where he played soccer.
