Philip Robbins

Philip Robbins (PhD, University of Chicago; AB, Harvard University) is Professor and Chair of Philosophy at the University of Missouri. His research focuses on experimental philosophy, moral psychology, and philosophy of psychology. He is coeditor of two handbooks published by Cambridge University Press — the Cambridge Handbook of Moral Psychology (2025) and the Cambridge Handbook of Situated Cognition (2009) — and editor or coeditor of special issues of the journals Consciousness and Cognition (2005) and Cognitive Systems Research (2015).
