Tery.M.Bono is a passionate storyteller whose journey began in the early childhood classroom, where she nurtured young minds as an early learning teacher for three years. She later spent 17 years navigating the fast-paced worlds of advertising and corporate communications—shaping narratives, crafting messages, and understanding the deep power of storytelling. But it was her love for children's books, sparked in her own childhood and carried through a lifelong hobby of collecting them, that eventually called her back.

Taking a leap of faith, she left the corporate world to pursue her dream of becoming a children’s book author—writing stories that gently guide young hearts and minds toward values of love, gratitude, resilience, and emotional connection.

Her very first book, Running Around the Yard with Dad, is a deeply personal piece. A tender poetic memory, it captures a fleeting moment between father and daughter, shared laughter, and the gentle goodbye tucked within the book. Dedicated to her late father, this short poetry piece became a final love letter—a remembrance and goodbye wrapped in verse.

In her creative process, Tery.M.Bono also embraces the power of AI-assisted illustration, using technology as a collaborative tool to bring her vision to life. She believes that when prompted with intention and guided by heart, AI can generate emotionally impactful, visually stunning artwork that resonates with readers of all ages. Blending timeless storytelling with cutting-edge tools allows her to stay rooted in tradition while stepping boldly into the future.

Her latest title, My Mother, My Lighthouse, is written to honor the strength, love, and sacrifices of all types of mothers—whether it is a stay-at-home moms, and expanding to celebrate working moms and single moms. Through poetic prose and thoughtful imagery, she invites readers to reflect on the everyday magic of a mother’s love.
