T.R. Carson

T.R. was raised by a pastor father in a fundamentalistic, evangelical church and by a loving, nonjudgmental mother. The eternal reward and punishment concept felt wrong when God was described as the definition of perfect love. He asked why a God who loved you would send you to hell. Rigid religious rules were impossible to follow, making sinning inevitable. After all, we are only imperfect humans. He realized there was more to existence than religious structure and sought living in love, respect, and acceptance, which he understood was spirituality. Thus began his education and guidance in how to live a spiritual life.
