Rachel Laidler is an editor and writer at the award-winning DK Travel. On her previous adventures she’s hiked in Nepal’s Himalayas, solo-tripped through Italy by train and raised calves on a dairy farm in New Zealand. After a couple of years in Inverness, she’s now Edinburgh-based, but still loves nothing more than heading north to explore the Scottish Highlands.
