Mark Harvey

Lover of puns and wordplay, he started with Robert Laidler, co-writing the world's first comprehensive guide to Scottish Rhyming Slang. They then moved onto, Compundium, a book covering all things pun-related. 1001 to be precise. He then turned to aspects of his working life, where he started off toiling away in a bank, before concluding that the sensible option would be to leave and start up a cleaning business. This was converted into his third book, called, Life's a Bleach (then you dye), a 400 page memoir of all cleaning related anecdotes.

In his spare time, he plays tennis and follow most forms of cricket. He supports the perennial bridesmaid, Somerset County Cricket Club, where he regularly goes and sees them every fifteen years.

He has also been scouring the world over a forty-five-year period, in an attempt to trace his old school friend, Ali Abbas Zaidi, who last he heard had moved to Kuwait in 1981. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
