Arnold W. Teater is a devoted Christian, small business owner, and former narcotics hotline operator who has spent a lifetime working the land and working with people. Born into hardship and raised in rural Texas, he overcame childhood trauma, learning disabilities, and addiction to follow a calling far greater than himself. With less than a tenth-grade education but a wealth of lived experience, Arnold taught himself to read and write through game shows, Bible study, and the relentless pursuit of truth.
A lifelong tree and lawn care worker, Arnold built his business from the ground up while ministering to the lost and broken. His deep love for Christian faith, family, and community has driven his involvement in spiritual mentorship, Christian inspiration, and outreach to those facing personal transformation struggles. His firsthand experience with spiritual warfare, addiction recovery, and life on the margins fuels his mission to reach others with truth and compassion.
Arnold writes not for fame but faith—to touch lives, save souls, and bring light into dark places. A Texas Lawnboy and His Savior is his first full-length book, a labor of love rooted in prayer and inspired by his walk with Christ.
