Cori H Ahn

Cori Ahn was born in South Korea and earned a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Sookmyung Women’s University, as well as a master’s degree in TESOL from New York University. For more than fifteen years, she has taught Korean language and culture throughout Greater Boston and New England. Through her classes and community events, she shares stories, traditions, and her love for hanbok (traditional Korean clothing). Passionate about connecting cultures through storytelling and cooking, Cori brings Korean heritage to life in warm and accessible ways. One day, she met an adorable dog named Kimchi in her neighborhood, and that encounter inspired this book.

She now lives in Brookline, Massachusetts, with her loving family. Through these pages, she invites children, families, and curious readers to meet Kimchi and experience a heartwarming taste of Korean culture.
