David Julian

For forty years, David Julian has lived inside the medical system that most people only visit. Diagnosed with epilepsy in the 1980s, he has navigated intractable seizures, brain injury, multiple surgeries, and the grinding work of rebuilding a life — and spent that time learning to think carefully about health, healing, and what the system gets right and wrong.

He writes as the Natural Vitality Advocate, bringing a faith-grounded, evidence-aware perspective to chronic illness, medical decision-making, and personal resilience. His books are for people who are done with easy answers — on either side of the conventional and alternative divide. He is the author of four books, including his most recent, Navigating Cancer Between Hope and Hype. He lives in Southern California.
