Flaco Sol

Flaco Sol is a bilingual (English/Spanish) storyteller with a heart rooted in family, community, and the art of saying something meaningful—especially to young readers. While he’s a rare author who didn’t grow up as a bookworm, he’s always been captivated by stories: the ones passed around kitchen tables, whispered at bedtime, or echoed from the dugout of a dusty baseball diamond.

A lifelong lover of baseball and all things heartfelt, Flaco writes picture books that help children navigate the world with courage, empathy, and imagination. His stories celebrate the beauty of being different, the strength in showing kindness, and the quiet bravery it takes to try something new.
