Eva Zweifler

Eva Zweifler was a preschool teacher for five years before working for the Rochester City School District. There she taught in their Home Hospital Program for thirty years. This program allowed Ms. Zweifler to teach students in every grade and every subject area one-on-one. Ms. Zweifler has teaching degrees in Art, Elementary Education, and Reading. Art and storytelling were always important elements of her teaching. She began writing and illustrating picture books upon her retirement. The main driving force behind the Bunny and Buck series was to incorporate science vocabulary and concepts that are necessary for academic success. Young children are very receptive to the acquisition of new words and find joy in owning them. She relishes sharing these stories and the knowledge that is embedded within them.

Ms. Zweifler resides in Rochester with her husband and their two dogs, Buddy and Chipper.
