Joe A. Chedid

Joe A. Chedid is a poet and fiction writer whose work explores consciousness, perception, existence, and the enduring questions that lie beyond certainty. Born in Lebanon and raised in London following his family's departure during the Lebanese Civil War, his writing is shaped by the confluence of cultures and the enduring legacy of language, reflecting a sensitivity to both the personal and the universal.

Influenced by the poetic tradition of his father and uncle - both renowned Lebanese poets - his work moves between the sacred and the everyday, the intimate and the infinite.

His first poetry collection, Echoes of Eternity, explored the interconnectedness of all things. His second and final collection, A Whisper Within the Infinite, brings that journey to its natural conclusion, where the search itself dissolves and what has always been is quietly recognised.

His novella, The Threshold, extends these same themes into fiction, following ordinary lives confronted by extraordinary circumstances and exploring how identity, choice, and meaning endure when the familiar world falls away.
