Kay Zempel is an award-winning author of paranormal romance. She spends her days with her imaginary friends in the worlds that she’s created.

Kay is a former academic, educator, and technical writer, but she remained a world-builder at heart. A Southern California native, she now lives in the Pacific Northwest. When not writing, you can find her on her couch: trying to make a dent in her TBR, playing cozy games on her Switch, or crafting.
