I have lived one roller coaster of a life! After the military, I wasn't much for being told what to do. With my self-made entrepreneurial grandfather as the greatest mentor of all time and my adoptive father never letting me forget that I would never amount to anything - it's a life of never, ever quitting and trying to the be the best at whatever I did. It was a blessing and a curse!

My writing is mostly about a few of the companies I've owned and the successes and failures throughout my life that influenced the next batch of successes and failures and the thought processes, habits and techniques that made who I was and and how I performed more successful than the average person. It was an odd feeling when I one day found that everyone did not see things the way I did with regards to ideas, problems, solutions and the like.

I believe sharing these ideas and thought processes will bring revolutionary results to those who receive, digest and deploy them. I told my son, "an education was not at all essential for success, but it most certainly opens your mind to a vast expansion of knowledge from which to draw."

Thought I'd write a book about it…
