A lifelong reader turned writer, Nick Hendricks is a Cincinnati-based author with a deep love for all things dark and unsettling. Nick credits his dad for introducing him to horror at a young age, showing him the classics like The Exorcist and Scream. When not writing, Nick enjoys watching horror films, occasionally painting, building things around the house and spending time outdoors hiking with his wonderful family.

Nick’s debut novel hit shelves in June, blending psychological suspense and mystery with horror, in a coming of age tale about two friends who discover a series of snuff-like films, hidden in the woods. Influenced by haunting, character-driven works like: The Woman in Black, You, The Haunting of Hill House, and Penpal, Nick’s stories aim to leave readers breathless long after the last page.

Nick has also appeared on the various Top 100 best seller list in various categories for each of his short stories, where he has dabbled in extreme horror, and splatter punk as well as more traditional horror.
