C. M. Burdell writes emotional, slow-burn love stories about memory, second chances, and the courage to let yourself be known. Some carry a touch of the extraordinary; others stay close to ordinary life — but all of them believe that love doesn't have to be loud to be real.

A Georgia Tech graduate, she set her first two novels, This Time and Full Circle, on the campus that shaped her love of science, storytelling, and unforgettable friendships. Her latest, The Words Come Late, turns to quieter ground: three linked love stories about neurodivergent hearts learning each other one late word at a time.

When she's not writing, C. M. Burdell enjoys hiking wooded trails, sketching dreamlike maps, and curling up with a good book.
