Declan Perrott

Declan Perrott is a fourteen-year-old author from Papillion, Nebraska. His debut novel, The Tower, explores dark and emotional themes, reflecting his long-standing interest in stories that confront fear, conflict, and human nature. From a young age, Declan was drawn to storytelling, captivated by the ability of language to create vivid worlds and uncover hidden layers of truth.

When he's not writing, Declan spends his time playing guitar, reading, gaming, and developing new ideas. Inspiration comes to him through many sources — from unsettling films to fleeting dreams — and he is always looking for ways to channel those influences into his work. His approach to writing centers on blending imagination with raw emotion, aiming to leave a lasting impact on readers.

Declan currently lives in Papillion with his family and two gerbils. He will soon begin his freshman year at Creighton Preparatory School, where he plans to stay active both academically and creatively. With The Tower as the first step in his writing journey, Declan looks forward to creating more stories that challenge, move, and provoke thought.
