Cam Stewart

Cam Stewart has been a dedicated advocate for diversity, inclusion, and human rights for over twenty-five years. His impactful work has earned him numerous prestigious awards, including the Jewish Repairing the World Award, the YMCA Peace Medal, the Baha’i Community Racial Harmony Award, the Alberta Outstanding Contribution to Community Adult Learning Award, and the Calgary Police Service Chief’s Award for Community Service. In recognition of his commitment to fostering understanding and reconciliation, he has been honored with a pipe and was gifted the Blackfoot name Mikostahpinukum (Red Morning).

In 2023, Rotary International named Cam a Person of Action: Champion of Inclusion and he was awarded the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal by the Province of Alberta.

Holding a Master’s degree in Intercultural Communication, Cam has advised hundreds of corporations, non-profit organizations, and all levels of government on fostering equitable practices and eliminating systemic barriers.
