Terry Phillips Griffin has always believed in the power of storytelling to inspire hearts, nurture faith, and teach eternal truths. Grounded in a deep love for God and a passion for sharing His Word, Terry writes with one clear purpose: to make biblical truths accessible, meaningful, and engaging for children and the families who love them.
Her debut book, GOD'S WONDERFUL PLAN! (soon available in SPANISH) is a complete Gospel presentation, written as a guide to help children understand God’s plan for humanity and His loving purpose for their own lives. Through engaging storytelling and Scripture-based lessons, Terry’s books serve as a beacon of faith, opening the door to meaningful conversations between adults and children while guiding readers toward a deeper relationship with God.
A MESSAGE FROM THE AUTHOR:
Greetings! My full author’s name is Terry Phillips Griffin. I include my maiden name, Phillips, to honor my parents, who blessed our family of seven children with a rich legacy of faith—the greatest gift parents can give. Sharing my faith journey helps readers connect with my heart and understand the genuine motivation behind everything I write.
I began teaching children through Sunday School and other ministries at age 21. Today, I am richly blessed as a grandparent to four grandchildren, six “bonus” grandchildren, and six “bonus” great-grandchildren. I understand the longing many grandparents feel when distance prevents them from spending as much time with their grandchildren as they wish. Yet I have learned that quality time is far more valuable than quantity.
Through faith-based books designed for children, parents and grandparents are equipped with meaningful tools to pass on a heritage of faith—no matter how far apart they live or how limited their time together is.
A CALL TO ENCOURAGE FAITH
My books are faith-based and true, written to open hearts and start conversations about God. Each story is designed to inspire hope, encourage trust in the Lord, and help families grow closer together through faith.
God orchestrated my move to Sugar Land, Texas, where He surrounded me with encouraging friends who influenced me into the world of publishing. Although I had always enjoyed writing poems and short stories for my children and grandchildren, I never imagined becoming a published author. But God knows the plans He has for us—even when we do not. And for those who follow Christ, His plans are always for our good and for His glory.
