James McLamb

James McLamb is the founder and CEO of Generation Youth and a nationally respected voice in youth development. With a background as a classroom educator and business innovator, James brings passion, energy, and timeless wisdom—especially from his mentor, Zig Ziglar—to every stage and setting.

He is the creator of the Generation Youth Coaching Certification Program, equipping educators, leaders, and aspiring coaches to extend their impact with young people, families, and schools. With a B.S. in Agricultural Education from NC State and an M.S. in Youth Development Leadership from Clemson, James spent eight years teaching high school before launching into entrepreneurship.

James is also a premiere youth speaker, author of Tomorrow’s Youth, and host of The Generation Youth Podcast. Whether training future coaches or speaking to thousands, James’s mission remains the same: to inspire the next generation to rise up and lead with confidence and purpose.

He lives in North Carolina with his wife of 30 years, Melissa, and their three amazing kids—Sara Beth, Jacob, and Abby.
