I've been a writer ever since I could pick up a pencil. I wrote my first “book” (I use the term book very loosely here) when I was in daycare and my teacher included writing time in each day. I wrote about aliens, battles, good and evil, and even had my own set of extremely sub-par illustrations to go with my stories.

As I grew older, writing stayed my favorite form of expression. It was my main outlet, especially as life got complicated. Hardship hits everyone, and the way I worked through my own struggle was to write about it. I was, and still am, deeply passionate about the strength and resilience of the human spirit. That passion finds its way into all my writing, especially my latest novel, For His Heartbeat, a Drumline.

Writing has, however, never been my profession. I’m a former product owner and current vagabond, ski bum, hiker, and chronic nomad. If you ever see me with less than a dozen moonshot plans for my next journey, then you must’ve seen someone else!
