Colleen Klinsky is a former middle school teacher turned storyteller, mom of four grown kids, and proud mama to three adorable (and occasionally chaotic) fur babies. After years spent guiding tweens through essays, awkward dances, and the joys of adolescence, she traded lesson plans for plot twists—and never looked back.

Colleen writes emotionally rich stories about love, resilience, and rediscovery—especially for women who know that life doesn’t end at 50; it just starts getting interesting.

Off the page, you’ll find her with her amazing husband, Don, a photographer. When they aren’t busy setting off on new adventures, she’s kickin’ it wearing black boots, listening to good music, and working on her next big story—one that, like her life, celebrates grit, heart, and the surprising beauty of coming home to yourself.
