I’m now formally retired after working in design and publishing for many years. Prior to that, I designed and made furniture for homes and gardens.

I have been writing short stories since the 1970s, and in the 80s completed three novels but never pursued getting them published.

Now that I have more time to write I’ve been concentrating on flash fiction, short stories and in early 2025 released a novel: ‘Yoyo & Max: A dog’s journey through an apocalypse’, published by Tim Saunders Publishing. This was followed by ‘The Afanc: The pursuit of power in post-Roman Britain’ in May 2025, a novel looking at how myths and legends are created in times of turmoil. I have added 'And Another Thing...' a compilation of short (very short in some cases) stories that I have written in the past two years. I hope you enjoy them!
