Hi, I’m James (or JJ). I’m from Ohio, I write books, and I think a lot about how the world works (and why it often doesn’t).

I’ve always been more of a thinker than a talker, so writing became my way of making sense of everything. From reality to history to whatever else I can’t let go of.

I love cheese, my dog Stoney, and getting lost in ideas. If any of that resonates, you’ll probably vibe with the books.
