After more than 30 years of service in the military and careers in public safety, IT, and cybersecurity, I’m finally returning to my first love: writing. A high school writing award winner who spent decades quietly crafting stories and saving them for “someday,” I’m now embracing that someday. As I approach retirement, I’m dedicating my time to writing, making music, and reconnecting with nature. My work draws from a life of discipline, service, and curiosity—infused with the wonder of a storyteller who never stopped observing the world.
