Levana Dutertre

Levana Dutertre is a passionate storyteller and former elementary English as an Additional Language (EAL) teacher with over 16 years of experience inspiring young minds. She is the creative mind behind The Deep-Sea Dentist, a charming children’s book that introduces readers to Olivia the octopus, an underwater dentist who brightens smiles across the ocean. She also aims to help alleviate dental anxiety by presenting positive and reassuring dental experiences for young readers. Levana’s stories blend imagination with gentle lessons on friendship, courage, and self-care.

When she's not sailing through new creative waters, Levana enjoys reading, watching hockey, and exploring with her husband and their spirited Jack Russell Terrier, Jett.
