Paul Trow

About the Author

Paul Trow is a retired soldier who served for 16 years in the prestigious Household Cavalry before embarking on a second career as a butler in some of Britain’s grandest country houses. Drawing on his rich experience in both military service and stately home life, he brings authenticity, wit, and insight to the world of Beamore. Also known for his humorous children’s books and illustrated poems, Paul blends sharp storytelling with a deep love of tradition, loyalty, and the curious characters that inhabit England’s past and present.

His current children’s titles include:

The Fence Post That Dreamed of Being a Tree

Mother’s Day

Meghan

I Used to Be a Rabbit

The Baahum Bug

There’s a Monster in My Room

There Was a Boy

When he’s not crafting rhyming mayhem for younger readers, Paul is hard at work on a series of novels for adults. These stories promise rich characters, emotional depth, and the same love of language that shines through his children’s books.
