Savia Smith is a lifelong learner and passionate storyteller who found her calling in creating books that spark curiosity and imagination. A devoted mother of five and proud grandmother of three, Savia has spent her life fostering a love of reading and writing—both in her home and in the classroom.

As a former special education teacher, she developed effective, compassionate strategies to help young children unlock the world of literacy and build foundational writing skills. Today, she channels that expertise into crafting high-quality, educational books for young readers.

Savia lives in the beautiful state of Maine with her husband and their quirky, half-blind Italian Greyhound, Pippa. Her playful grandsons often inspire her stories, bringing joy and real-life wonder to the pages she writes.
