Luca French has been creating stop-motion animation videos since kindergarten, bringing bold, imaginative worlds to life. In 2022, he became the youngest-ever artist featured at Sydney’s Vivid festival, where his extraordinary art and storytelling captivated audiences.
At just 11 years old, Luca was approached by Five Mile Publishing to develop a children's book series based on his original creations from Planet Ninget. In 2024, he became the only student artist commissioned to create large-scale artworks for the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network, with his vibrant pieces set to brighten the new Randwick and Westmead hospitals.
A passionate environmentalist and animal advocate, Luca hopes his books inspire others to love and protect the planet. When he’s not drawing or animating, you’ll find him building LEGO, playing soccer, or hanging out with his lazy dog, Wookie.
