Michael Heath Lewis is an accomplished mechanical engineer with over 20 years of experience in maintenance management, reliability engineering, and system optimization. He has worked in complex industrial and petrochemical environments across the U.S. and internationally, bringing a deep expertise in problem-solving and predictive analysis to every project—including his writing.

A lifelong enthusiast of history, mythology, and speculative fiction, Michael crafts narratives that explore the intersection of ancient civilizations and futuristic technologies. Inspired by the strength and resilience of the women in his life—especially his wife—he created Rafu as a tribute to powerful female warriors, both historical and imagined.

His debut novel blends alternate history with science fiction and fantasy, reimagining the past through a lens of cosmic intrigue and mythic power. Michael currently resides in Texas, where he continues to fuse engineering precision with creative world-building.
