Christopher Sean Waters is a U.S. Army combat veteran, Environmental Health and Safety leader, and author whose work is rooted in resilience, trauma, leadership, and survival. A Chemical Corps veteran who served from 2001 to 2008 with two combat deployments to Iraq, Christopher served as a CBRNE Reconnaissance Squad Leader with D Troop, 1/14 Cavalry, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division. His military experiences, combined with a childhood shaped by abuse and hardship, became the foundation for his deeply personal and emotionally raw writing style.

He is also the creator of The Northern Maine Massacres psychological thriller series and the author of Safety: The Fight Against Complacency, a leadership-focused examination of workplace safety culture, human behavior, and risk management.

Outside of writing, Christopher has spent more than two decades working in Environmental Health & Safety, HAZMAT emergency response, environmental remediation, and incident command operations across multiple industries and international projects. He currently serves as an Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator for J.D. Irving in Northern Maine, overseeing operations across sawmill and woodland environments.

Known for his immersive storytelling, authenticity, and unfiltered honesty, Christopher writes about the realities of trauma, healing, leadership, war, and human resilience. His work resonates with readers seeking stories that are both emotionally gripping and deeply human.

Christopher lives in Northern Maine with his wife, Holly, and their family. When he is not writing or working, he enjoys time outdoors, campfires, barbecue, music, fishing, and the quiet solitude of the North Maine woods.
