Jason Flom

Jason Flom is the co-author of Lulu Is a Rhinoceros, which he wrote with his daughter Allison Flom. Inspired by their beloved bulldog Lulu and their shared passion for standing up for what's right, the book is a celebration of identity, inclusion, and being proud of who you are. In 2025, Lulu Is a Rhinoceros came to life as an animated musical special on Apple TV+, co-executive produced by Jason with his daughter, Allison Flom, and featuring original songs and an all-star cast (Auli‘i Cravalho, Alex Newell, and more).

In his other life, Jason is the co-founder and CEO of Lava Media and a leading voice in criminal justice reform. He’s also a former music executive who helped launch the careers of artists like Lorde, Katy Perry, and Paramore. But more than anything, he loves animals, stories with heart, and making the world a kinder place—one book (or bulldog) at a time.
