Eva Mengual

I was born and still live in Barcelona. Ever since I had both a sense of reason and access to a computer, I’ve been typing up my notes and all kinds of texts —editing has always come naturally to me. My professional journey began with proofreading and translation, but I eventually moved into the publishing world. I started out as an editorial assistant and gradually worked my way up to becoming an editor —my true calling and profession.

One day, after years of editing and revising other people’s work, I decided to start writing myself. It turned out to be a great decision: I've published three books for adults so far, and after taking some courses in children's and young adult literature, I also released an illustrated book. And there are a few more manuscripts in the drawer, waiting eagerly to see the light of day.
