Dr. Michael Martin is an award-winning high school principal, seasoned educator, and nationally recognized thought leader at the intersection of artificial intelligence and school leadership. Named the 2024 Ohio High School Principal of the Year, Dr. Martin is best known for helping school leaders reclaim their time, refocus their work, and lead with clarity—even in the most demanding environments.

With over 20 years of experience in public education, Dr. Martin currently serves as principal of Buckeye Central High School in rural Ohio, where he has led transformative changes in curriculum, school culture, and instructional innovation. Under his leadership, Buckeye Central has become a statewide model for how small schools can provide big opportunities. His initiatives—like Bucks Block, Crew for a Cause, and the district-wide Community Service Day—have elevated both student outcomes and staff engagement.

Dr. Martin is the author of Blending Instruction with Technology, Teacher Efficacy and School Choice, and most recently, AI-Powered Leadership: 50 Prompts to Transform Your School Today.
