Ruth Harbour

Ruth and her husband, Mark, are retired Global Outreach missionaries who continue to serve the west coast of Taiwan with the non-profit they founded—Taiwan Harvest 119 Caring Association. Ruth, a teacher of children, youth and women, spends most of her time engaging these groups with God’s Word and life-improving resources—for instance, her Sparrow’s House ministry gives needy women the opportunity to make income through making crafts.

While she was finishing a Master of Arts in Worship degree at the Taiwan Conservative Baptist Seminary, she began the story which became her first novel—TILL THE RAPTURE DO US PART. “With the return of Christ,” Ruth says, “People need to be able to recognize the Antichrist when he comes onto the world scene. They don’t want to receive the mark—that is his ID or number—in order to buy and sell.”

Ruth and Mark enjoy spending time with the families of their five children—including fifteen grandchildren—who live on four continents! Ruth, also, enjoys writing about the future, the people of Taiwan, composing music, and playing her violin--all of which she shares on her writer's site under her name.
