Jace Holt is the co-creator of The All-in-One Interactive Outdoor Survival Guide for Kids, a hands-on adventure born from a love of nature, a teacher’s heart, and a family’s passion for the great outdoors. Together with his wife—a former elementary school teacher with a knack for making learning FUN—Jace combines real-world survival know-how with creative, kid-friendly activities to spark curiosity and confidence in young explorers.
From weekend hikes to starry campfire nights, the Holts raised their son Zach in the wilderness—sometimes literally, with Zach riding along on Jace’s back as they trekked through forests and trails. That early exposure to nature clearly stuck: Zach completed the legendary John Muir Trail last summer with his fiance', Lexi. A proud milestone for the whole family!
Jace and his wife believe in the power of unplugging and getting outside, and they’ve poured that belief into every page of their guide. When they aren’t RVing or hiking the nearest trail, they’re dreaming up new ways to help families and kids connect with nature in meaningful ways—and to inspire a lifelong sense of adventure.
