Graeme van der Meer is a New Zealand-based paediatric surgeon by training and author by compulsion. His writing explores the uneasy intersections of technology, truth, and human resilience, blending speculative fiction with sharp emotional insight.

When he's not in the operating theatre or deep in narrative structure, Graeme can be found sailing in the Hauraki Gulf or exploring iconoclasty over coffee or Cabernet. He writes with the hope that stories, like stars, still help us navigate.
