David Lee Lough is a writer, illustrator, and blue-collar suburban survivor. He’s the author of Dogs Don’t Like Me, a raw and honest mix of poems and prose about marriage, fatherhood, drinking too much, working too hard, and feeling too much… all written in plain language, the kind that doesn’t flinch.
When he’s not writing, he’s drawing bold, black-and-white tattoo flash with heavy lines and old-school guts. His flash books, six and counting, sell all over the world and reflect his no-nonsense style: tough, funny, and straight from the shop wall.
David’s work is for the ones who don’t fear death, they just hope it shows up on time. It’s for anyone who’s ever killed a spider and felt bad about it, told their boss off and showed up for work the next day, or wondered how the hell to be a man these days.
His stuff isn’t for everyone—but if it’s for you, you’ll know right away.
