Steve Hall

Steve Hall is Professor Emeritus of Criminology at Teesside University in the UK. With his long-time writing partner Professor Simon Winlow, he is the architect of the ultra-realist project. Described by his peers as a polymath, he combines anthropology, sociology, neuropsychology, cultural theory and political-economic history in an attempt to understand the zemiological dimension of human existence - why some are willing to risk harm to others and their environments in order to satisfy their own interests.
