Serene Ip

Serene Ip is a writer and painter who lives in Hong Kong. Her books come from dreams that stay with her long after she wakes up. Most of her stories begin as parts of her vivid dreams, which she then turns into books. She often adds her own artwork to her novels, bringing together her love of writing and painting in her work.

Serene believes that another part of the universe sends her ideas for her writing. Her stories tend to be unusual and different from what most people expect. "The Rose Ring" is her first published novella, now available to readers.
