Juan Pablo Velasquez is a global HR executive, speaker, and passionate advocate for rebellious and respectful leadership. He currently serves as Chief Human Resources Officer at Fyffes—a leading multinational in the production and distribution of bananas and tropical fruits, with over 15,000 employees across Latin America and Europe—where he leads the company’s global people strategy.

Before joining Fyffes, he held executive roles at 3M, Alpina, and Coca-Cola FEMSA, where he helped shape culture, leadership, and transformation across diverse international teams.

A trained lawyer with a Global MBA, Juan Pablo combines strategic expertise with a deep understanding of human behavior. He has also studied positive psychology, enriching his leadership philosophy with insights into purpose, resilience, and well-being.

Originally from Colombia and now based in Switzerland, he brings a global lens to everything he does. His debut book, Respectful Rebels, offers a bold and deeply authentic roadmap for those ready to rise, speak up, and thrive—without losing themselves in the process.
