Bill McMahon

Bill McMahon was born and raised in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn in N.Y.C., the oldest of five children. A graduate of Nazareth Regional High School and Kingsborough Community College, he has an A.A.S in Business Administration and attended John Jay Criminal College to pursue a second degree in Criminal Justice. Bill has held a variety of jobs including waiter, bartender, Wall Street, Con Edison. His dream job, however, was being a New York City Police officer where he was promoted to the Detective Bureau and retired as a Sergeant and Union delegate.

Target New York City is his first novel in the new post-apocalyptic series, Without Warning. His inspiration for this series came from his experiences as a police officer in the N.Y.P.D., especially during his time in the Detective Bureau during and following 9-11. He spends his time assisting other police officers with medical issues via the medical assistance groups he founded several years ago. Bill enjoys many outdoor activities like fishing, hunting and boating. His favorite pastime is refurbishing and building firearms and his time at the outdoor range testing them. Bill is retired and lives with his college sweetheart and wife of 30 years, Andrea and their two dogs and three cats in Cape Coral, Florida. Together they were blessed with two children, their son, Billy and daughter Megan.
