Hey there! I’m Kat Melody, the creator of The Romeo Series. That fluffy, bright-eyed kitten you meet in the books? He’s totally based on my real-life Romeo – curious, cuddly, and just a little bit dramatic.

I’m all about good stories, cozy corners, and those quiet little “aha!” moments that sneak up on you in everyday life. My books are filled with the kinds of things I think matter most – kindness, patience, and gentle lessons wrapped in a whole lot of fluff.

The stories themselves were sparked by little ones who once filled my days with questions, giggles, and wide-eyed wonder. They’re not so little anymore – but those moments stayed with me. Not so long ago, I was telling them stories... and that love for storytelling is still at the heart of everything I write.

When I’m not sketching out ideas or lost in a story, you’ll likely find me with an iced coffee in hand and a soft shadow stretched out nearby – my favorite writing companion.
