I'm Sam Afshari — founder of Nextgen Leaders, leadership coach, and someone who's always been driven by a simple question:

Through my work, I support new and emerging leaders in navigating real-world challenges — not just the big moments, but the small, often unnoticed ones that stay with us after meetings, tough decisions, or long days.

Whether I’m coaching one-on-one or writing a book, my goal is always the same: to make leadership feel more human — and more doable.

The books I write are rooted in what we live through every day but rarely pause to reflect on. They’re not about being perfect. They’re about recognizing that we’re not alone — and that it’s possible to lead with heart, even when it’s hard.

When I’m not writing or working with leaders, I spend my time exploring how we can build better workplaces — ones where people feel safe, seen, and supported.
