Aaron Pursley was born on April 25, 1989, in the quiet mountain town of Dunlap, Tennessee. A former high school football player, Aaron grew up with a fierce competitive spirit, a strong work ethic, and a deep love for building and creating with his hands.
In June 2023, Aaron survived a life-altering tragedy that claimed the lives of his fiancée, her mother, and two children. Shot multiple times and left for dead inside a burning home, he escaped against all odds—wounded, grieving, but alive. His story is one of unimaginable loss, raw survival, and unshakable courage.
Through his writing, Aaron shares not only his pain but his strength, offering a powerful voice to others living with trauma. His work is honest, emotional, and rooted in truth. More than a survivor, Aaron is a builder—of hope, of healing, and of stories that matter.
He continues to live in Tennessee, honoring those he lost and inspiring others to keep standing, no matter what they face.
