When Telma came along, the title just entered and stuck in my head, I can't tell you why it came, but I can tell you it wouldn't let me sleep until I wrote it down, so I reached for my phone and added it to keep notes. Sleep came and I didn't think about it again until in early January of 2024. I ran across the title while using keep notes to write up a grocery list. This time I could see her clearly and I knew her story, so I started to write. She was me and I was her. My left thigh was injured in a car accident, making difficult to walk, when it first happened, almost impossible. I went to physical therapy for weeks and then a second time because the injury was not better. It is permanent and will always effect my mobility, I have exercises that I have to do daily to the effected area or walking becomes difficult and painful. I cope, I find things that bring me joy and concentrate on them. If I want to going skiing, well I will just have to daydream about it.❤️
