My life and writing have been shaped by struggle, service, creativity, and an enduring search for understanding. I transitioned from a fractured home into over a decade of Naval service. In the years that have followed, my path has led me through veteran advocacy, personal hardship, medical complications, and literary expression.

My journey has taken many forms.

Throughout this odyssey, my ideals have been challenged and my character tested. I have been far from a perfect man, and I have made mistakes, but I have also made the effort to learn from them. I’ve continually reconsidered what it means to embody morality and purpose.

Writing has remained the driving force through which I’ve made sense of my experiences and the world around me. Through poetry, philosophy, memoir, and myth, I’ve transformed hardship into reflection, chaos into clarity, and hard-earned lessons into expressions of courage, discipline, resilience, and faith.
