Irene Scott

Irene Scott is a high school teacher with a lifelong love of reading and a passion for sharing the joy of discovery with young minds. Her niece and nephew sparked her desire to create stories that capture the wonder and imagination of childhood. The inspiration for her first children's book, Little Mikey Learns to Fish, came from a close friend who taught her the joys of fishing. It’s a family story about a little boy who finds his passion in fishing with his family, and grows his hobby into competitive tournament fishing. With many more stories on the way, Irene is excited to continue her journey as a children’s author, encouraging kids everywhere to explore, learn, and dream big.
